Bikers'Festival A Bikers’ paradise is this coming weekend at Francorchamps!
It’s finally here! Following months of preparing the 1st edition of the Bikers’Festival it will be in full swing this coming Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th August on the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. By combining motorbikes of all eras and fashions, DG Sport has achieved in bringing about its challenge: putting on an event during which all fans of two-wheels will be among their own kind!
The bikers’ paradise … This is what is in store for the public this weekend on the ‘most beautiful circuit in the world. Where the motorbike will reign supreme. With motorbikes of yesteryear, that will take to the track as part of the Bikers’Classics, and today’s machines, which will benefit from five riding sessions under the label Bikers’Days, and which will be omnipresent in the heart of the Bikers’Village, and those of tomorrow, with notably test runs of electric models foreshadowing the future, on a closed circuit.
While machines and riders will come thick and fast on the 7-kilometre strip of asphalt, in the heart of the paddock, the Bikers’Village will bring together an impressive array of importers, who will be displaying models from their range. The public will have the opportunity to test more than one hundred motorbikes (registration in advance required!), with among the headliners the renowned Ducati Camp highlighting the trails of the Italian make …
Focal point of the Bikers’Festival, the Bikers’Café, in the Salons de l’Eau Rouge, will offer the public the opportunity to meet the event’s prestigious guests. Living legend Giacomo Agostini, former world champion Wayne Gardner and king of the Isle of Man TT Michael Dunlop will be taking part in autograph sessions alongside Didier de Radiguès, with an exhibition celebrating the 40th anniversary of his victory in the Grand Prix de Belgique 250cc. These stars will also be riding machines that wrote the history of the Continental Circus, and this as part of the three GP Parades scheduled over the weekend. In addition to the big parade on the old Francorchamps circuit, accessible to all!
Throughout the two days all types of motorbikes will be forever crossing paths. Between the participants in the Moto Ardenne Trail and the 1000 Virages run, the competitors in the 2 Jours de Stavelot Revival, who will be showcasing old-school Enduro, the speed merchants who will be taking part in sprint races at the circuit’s Ster entrance, there will definitely be something to everyone’s taste.
Add to that a host of entertainment, with the unmissable Bikers’Party on Saturday evening, not forgetting the Kids’Village for the younger ones, and you end up with a cocktail quite simply unprecedented in our country!
Access to the Bikers’Festival is priced at 30 euros, with tickets available online or on the spot. And for children under 12, it’s free!
So, are you ready for a two-wheel experience like you have never lived through before?
