Bikers'Festival The legend Giacomo Agostini invited to the 1st Bikers’Festival!
An exceptional event, with a no less exceptional top billing! On Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th August DG Sport has set a rendezvous with the entire bikers’ community, and this on the ‘most beautiful circuit in the world’. The first edition of the Bikers’Festival, on and around the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps, will be a multi-faceted event, not only bringing together riding sessions for classic motorcycles, but also present day models, a true open air show in the paddocks, the popular ‘The Trial Classics’, the Revival of the 2 Jours de Stavelot on the Enduro scene, a ‘Moto Trail Ardenne’ for all enthusiasts of rural excursions, a ‘Les 1000 Virages’ run reserved for road-going machines, not forgetting loads of entertainment!
While many surprises are presently being prepared, DG Sport is proud to announce that this 1st Bikers’Festival will be further enhanced by the presence of the living legend Giacomo Agostini! With his 15 world titles, claimed in the 350cc and 500cc categories, and his 122 victories in Grand Prix, for a major part under the colours of MV Agusta, ‘The King Ago’ to this day remains the most successful rider in the history of pure motorcycle speed!
And between Spa and Agostini, it is a true love story and one of deep respect. The champion recalls that on a day he clinched a victory on the ‘big circuit’ at more than 205 km/h… as an average! Suffice to say that at that time, any mistake or fall was forbidden.
The spectators attending the Bikers’Festival will therefore have the opportunity to meet Giacomo Agostini throughout the two days. Now 81 years old, originally from Brescia, he remains accessible to all the fans, whom he will be delighted to meet … With the arrival of Agostini, DG Sport is laying its cards on the table: as from its first edition the Bikers’Festival is proving its ambition. It is out to impose itself as a unifying event, able to bring pleasure and delight to all fans of two-wheels. Further announcement will follow, so high time to jot down the dates of 12th and 13th August in your diaries …
