Bikers'Festival Act 2 of the Bikers’ Festival: here we go!

One year on from a successful first edition, DG Sport is staging Act 2 of the eagerly-awaited Bikers’ Festival on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 August. It’s an event like no other, with the Spa-Francorchamps circuit as its backdrop, and motorcycling for all times and all fashions.

For two days, the motorbike will be king on the site of the ‘most beautiful circuit in the world’. On both Saturday and Sunday, the 1000 Virages and Moto Trail Ardenne rides will kick off the official programme of festivities, launching participants onto the roads and tracks of this superb region. And the sun will be out in force! As for the 200-plus competitors in the 2 Jours de Stavelot Revival, a celebration of old-style enduro racing, they’ll be setting off to tackle a forest course on Saturday, and a more skill-oriented one on Sunday. In short, it’s going to be all over the place…

Meanwhile, on the track, the Bikers’ Classics sessions will follow one another at a steady pace, showcasing road and racing machines built between 1940 and 2000! And sidecars have not been forgotten, with sessions reserved exclusively for them…

A permanent spectacle crowned by the not-to-be-missed parades, from the GP Parade, in the presence of Didier de Radiguès and Barry Baltus, to the Grand Historic Track Parade at the end of the day on Saturday! Not to be missed…

In the Circuit’s F1 pitlane, there will be a number of exhibits that will attract the attention of all enthusiasts, featuring the Suzuki RG 500, which Barry Sheene twice rode to the world title, as well as the lesser-known Rumi motorbikes, Italian machines built in the 1950s and powered by 125cc two-stroke twins!

As for the Spa-Francorchamps paddocks, they will be transformed into a huge Bikers’ Village where countless importers will be presenting their 2024 range… but also giving motorcyclists the chance to get their hands on around a hundred different models for proper testing! Ducati will also be organising its famous Ducati Camp!

And for thrill-seekers, the Sprint Races will once again be held at the Ster entrance to the Circuit, while in the heart of the paddock, the Styck Motorshow and its improbable side-car in the shape of… a shoe will be pushing back the laws of balance and stunt! Not to be missed!

As tradition dictates, Saturday night fever will be at its peak at the Bikers’ Party, open to all!

So let’s call a spade a spade, there won’t be a single biker worthy of the name likely to be bored for a minute on Saturday and Sunday at the Bikers’ Festival 2024. It’s an event tailor-made for fans of motorbikes, whether they’re old, modern, avant-garde or… improbable! See you in Spa!
