Bikers'Festival An exhibition to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Didier de Radiguès’s victory at the Belgian Grand Prix!

And one piece of good news that will delight fans of competition on two-wheels! As weeks go by, the programme for the inaugural edition of the Bikers’Festival never ceases to grow in prestige. Be it with the riding sessions for yesteryear (Bikers’Classics) and modern ‘bikes, the open-air motorbike show, in the heart of the paddock of the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, the various runs on the region’s roads and tracks through to the trial and enduro events in nostalgia mode, all in the presence of the living legend Giacomo Agostini, DG Sport is adding an exhibition that promises to be the talk of town.

It is in fact Didier de Radiguès who will be in the spotlight! A question of celebrating the 40 years – already! – of his victory in the pure speed Belgian Grand Prix, in the 250cc category, riding the renowned Chevallier. 1983 had been more than a beneficial year seeing he had also claimed victory in the 24 Heures de Liège, on the Spa circuit, this time manning a Kawasaki.

With 4 Grand Prix successes to his name, de Radiguès appeared on the podium on 15 occasions. Also among the Belgian rider’s record of achievements the Grand Prix of Macau! Following from there he swapped the handlebars for a steering wheel, embarking on a new career in motorsport, with numerous successes into the bargain.

Now recognised as fully-fledged artist, specialising in photographic creations, Didier de Radiguès remains one of the public’s favourites. It goes without saying that he will be present at the exhibition which is dedicated to him.

All the more reason not to miss out on the advent of the Bikers’Festival by DG Sport…
